A Day at the Tour De France July 6, 2006

Guys dressed in black were riding around Place Klebér. They had stilts and were riding tall bikes.

A man was powering a car by pedaling a bike it was very funny.

The Tour De France when a biker was coming.

We went to the the Tour De France July 1st. I have never seen the Tour De France in person so it was very exciting. It was hard to take picture since it was going so fast. They do go fast there gone in 5 seconds. It’s crazy!

After the Tour De France the had alot of fun things in Place Kleber. They had face painting. And a closed in place where the had weird bikes like one had 8 seats. A guy riding a bike powering a car which was really funny.

Fête de la Music June 23, 2006

Near Place Kléber, we watched this Brazilian Dance Fight, Capoeira.

In Place Kléber a rock band was playing.

Near the Cathedral some kids were dressed up and dancing (see on the right). 

 

In Place Gutenber another band was playing.

Wednesday, we went to the Fête de la Music. It was alot a fun. We got to hear different kinds of music. A few people were dressed in costumes and were dancing. They had hats and someone was dressed in a bear costume. There was, also, Brazilan fight dance. People were crowed around so I couldn't see and the palm trees were all ready taken as you can see in the picture above.

A Beautiful Picture June 10, 2006

I was looking through our pictures and saw this one. My Mama told me that she was in the car when she took it. She had rolled down the window to take the picture. I think this picture is beautiful with the horses and the mountains behind them. I think it looks great for a picture taken from the car.

The Vosges June 5, 2006

When we went to the mountains we saw many cool things. We saw a cave where Druids would worship. It was really cool. We also saw a pagan wall that was built around 4000 BC. The cool thing is they don't really know how old it is or how it got there.

It’s Weird But Cool June 3, 2006

Every time we pass this building I think it's weird but cool. It is brown with gold windows that reflect. If you can't tell the windows are rectangles with curves on the corners.

Lauterbourg, France June 1, 2006

On our way back from the airport we stoped by a village, Lauterbourg. There was an old tower and old church. The church was about a 1000 years old. It was really cool. We, also, got a pain au chocolate. There was a building covered in ivy. It was a little weird.
